A beautiful, bullet shaped fish that is perfectly shaped for speed - much like a surfboard. They’re fun to catch on a hook and line and best eaten as fresh as possible.

It’s another of my favourite fishes to paint -they are attractive fish with beautiful green, blue shades amidst the darker stripes on their backs. These fish are very versatile and great baked, grilled, barbecued , soused or smoked. Try with: Mustard or a sweet soy sauce or just with juice of lemon
